Snohomish County PUD reports that about 25,000 residents remain without power as of Sunday night.
Many residents in Lynnwood have had their power restored, though other residents are still in the dark.
PUD crews will be working through the night and more are coming Monday from Eastern Washington. Restoration efforts will likely span into the week. These are very challenging, time consuming jobs. Many trees, poles and wires are down in Snohomish County, the PUD reports.
The weekend storm equaled the 1993 Inauguration Day with 175,000Â outages.
The best way to report outages, for customers still without power, is by calling the PUD outage phone line at 425-783-1001.
Edmonds Community College, which was closed Sunday due to the windstorm/power outage, will open on Monday.
