The Kiwanis Club of Lynnwood/Lynnwood Kiwanis Foundation will hold their annual charity fundraiser event, Mardi Gras in May, on May 16.
The event will be from 5-9 p.m. at the Northshore Senior Center in Bothell. The evening will include a catered dinner with choices of beef brisket, chicken or salmon, beer, wine, soda, coffee, and tea. Entertainment will be provided by a live band. Several fun games will be available and a silent auction will be held. Tickets are $40 and are available at: www.brownpapertickets.com/event/1332303
Lynnwood Kiwanis Foundation is a not for profit 501 (c) 3 organization. Funds raised from this event are used to support many projects in South Snohomish County including Lynnwood and Mountlake Terrace Food Banks, Clothes for Kids, Alderwood Boys and Girls Club and scholarships for graduating Edmonds School District seniors. Other Kiwanis projects including Kiwanis Children’s Cancer Program, which provides funds for research to find a cure for children’s cancers and ELIMINATE, an international program, partnering with UNICEF, to eliminate maternal neonatal tetanus by providing immunization shots.
