Mar 4, 2017 @ 9:00 am - Apr 1, 2017 @ 12:30 pm
Free

Do you feel confused by what should go in the garbage and what should go in the recycling?
Have you heard about compost, but are not sure what it is for or how is it made?
Are you worried about home cleaners that produce fumes?
Are you interested in learning about cleaning alternatives that are safer for your health?
Are you interested in sharing this information with others?

If you answered yes to the questions above, then become an Ambassador for the Environment! We will be training people interested in learning about these topics Saturdays, March 4 through April 1, from 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM each day. The training is free; there will be no childcare. We will meet in Everett, two Saturdays at WSU Extension, McCollum Park, 600 128th St. SE Everett, WA, and three Saturdays at the Mariner Fire Station, 12310 Meridian Ave. Everett, WA.

After the training, share what you learned at 3 Latino events. To participate, turn in the application found in https://extension.wsu.edu/snohomish/naturalresources/latino-engagement/ by February 22. For questions or more information, contact Yolimar Rivera, yolimar.rivera@wsu.edu or (425) 357-6029.

Don’t miss the chance of learning how to help the environment, for everyone and the future generations! Remember that: The Environment: It’s Yours, It’s Mine, It’s Ours.
