Sign-waving Sunday, 7/20

Be a beacon for hope and democracy by attending the next “Social Justice Sundays” sign-waving event
this Sunday, July 20, 1-2 p.m., at the intersection of Aurora Avenue North and N. 205th St., at the Shoreline-Edmonds line.

Join others standing up for civil rights, due process, and democracy, and against authoritarianism, adding trillions to the national debt for billionaire tax breaks, and irresponsible cuts to Medicaid, education, food safety, disaster response, and more.

Organized by Shoreline-based Everyday Activists, these regular sign-wavings every Sunday in July (same time and location) have the theme, “United, we stand. Divided, we fall.”

Shelf-stable food and toiletry donations for those in need will be accepted at these events. Bring a sign or just yourself, but come and let your voice be heard.
