great dealThe Lynnwood City Council has scheduled joint retreats with Mayor Nicola Smith, directors and City staff at its Monday and Wednesday work sessions.

Monday’s work session will focus on the community vision and strategic planning. The information shared and discussed on Monday will serve as a foundation for the second joint retreat on Wednesday, which will focus on the 2017-18 budget. All of the discussions are intended to support the Council’s annual January retreat in 2016.

For the first time, Lynnwood’s 2017-18 Budget will be developed utilizing Budgeting For Outcomes (BFO) principles to align spending with Lynnwood Moving Forward – Our Community Vision.

Both meetings are scheduled to start at 7 p.m. at the Lynnwood Civic Center, Council Chambers, 19100 44th Ave. W., Lynnwood.
