A clothing drive is a great way to give back this holiday season, and Clothes For Kids, which provides school wardrobes to local kids in need, is encouraging local businesses to help them restock the shelves of its Lynnwood shop.
The non-profit organization has already outfitted more than 1,900 students this school year, and is in need of new underwear, socks, winter coats and jeans, said Program Manager Nancy Laird Burris.
Donations of new and gently used clothing provide a vital source of inventory for the program. For more information about organizing a clothing drive, call 425-741-6500 or email office@clothesforkids.org.
