WorkSource Snohomish County will present free workshops for job seekers this fall at the Lynnwood, Edmonds and Mountlake Terrace libraries.
The workshops are “Interview Like a Star,” for which participants are expected to come dressed for an interview; “Effective Resumes and Cover Letters,” which will review letter formats, contents and styles; and “Got Interviews?” which will explain tactics to get more frequent interviews and help participants understand hiring managers’ expectations.
Most workshops will last three hours. The schedule is as follows:
Lynnwood: “Effective Resumes and Cover Letters,” 1 p.m., Sept. 15; “Got Interviews?” 1 p.m., Oct. 13; “Interview Like a Star, 1 p.m., Nov. 10.
Edmonds: “Effective Resumes and Cover Letters,” 1 p.m., Sept. 16; “Got Interviews?” 1 p.m., Sept. 30; “Interview Like a Star,” 1 p.m., Oct. 14.
Mountlake Terrace: “Effective Resumes and Cover Letters,” 1 p.m., Oct. 14; “Got Interviews?” 1 p.m., Oct. 28; “Interview Like a Star,” 1 p.m., Nov. 4.
